The Belkin INC003 makes the most sense for Windows and Chromebook users who want a full desk dock with a lot of legacy ports. The appeal is simple: one USB-C cable gives you charging, Ethernet, audio, five USB-A ports, two USB-C device ports, and flexible HDMI or DisplayPort monitor connections. Belkin's Chromebook certification and Chrome OS firmware update path also make it a safer pick for managed Chromebook fleets than a random USB-C hub. The weaknesses are all about display expectations. This is not a DisplayLink dock and it is not Thunderbolt. It relies on MST, which is good on many Windows and Chromebook laptops but poor for multiple extended displays on macOS. The triple-monitor claim also needs context because only the best listed DP 1.4 HBR3 DSC case reaches triple 4K, and even then the table shows 30Hz. For typical office work on a Windows laptop with two monitors, the INC003 is practical and fairly priced. For Mac users, gaming, color work, or anyone who wants predictable high-bandwidth multi-monitor support, a Thunderbolt 4 dock or a DisplayLink model such as Belkin's INC007 is a better fit.
