Very Good

The Dell UD22 is a strong fit for office users who need broad USB-C compatibility and a lot of ports from one cable. It gives you more flexibility than many native USB-C docks, especially if you care about driving three or four external displays across a mixed Windows and Mac environment. The six USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports are genuinely useful, and 96W host charging is enough for most mainstream laptops. Where the UD22 loses points is complexity and value. At launch, it was priced like a premium dock, yet its best display modes still rely on DisplayLink software, which adds one more layer to manage and troubleshoot. User feedback is also mixed on long-term reliability, especially around Ethernet and multi-monitor behavior. If you want one dock for many USB-C laptops and you understand the DisplayLink tradeoffs, the UD22 is a capable option.
